Little Upton Farm
 

Little Upton Farm Little Upton is a 200 acre mixed working farm, only 5 minutes by car from Ryde and 10 minutes from the Fishbourne Ferry Terminal. The farmhouse is a listed 17th Century building restored to its original charm with exposed timbers and inglenook fireplaces providing cosy log fires in winter.

Little Upton Farm Completely peaceful and quiet, the house is set on a gentle slope, south facing and overlooking the Valley of Ashey with ancient oaks, ponds and green fields. The parkland scenery, classed as an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, extends from Culver to Ashey Down, with glimpses of the sea at Whitecliff and Yaverland Bays, and can be seen from all the bedrooms.

 

Little Upton Farm The sunny spacious bedrooms are furnished to a very high standard and have been awarded with the Five Diamonds Silver Award from the English Tourism Council. Tastefully decorated with antique furniture, comfortable beds (either double or twin) and easy chairs. Every room has its own ensuite bathroom with full length bath and power shower, colour television, tea or coffee making facilities and hairdryer. A convenient fridge on the landing is kept stocked with fresh milk for you to use or for cooling wines.

Little Upton Farm, Isle of WightEach room has beautiful pastoral views over the large garden with flowers, lawns and abundant wildlife, to the fields with sheep, cattle and horses beyond. The garden is there at your disposal to sit in the many garden chairs or wander amongst the flowers with a cup of tea, or maybe a glass of wine.

Little Upton prides itself on it home cooked farmhouse breakfasts. Breakfast is served in either the cool conservatory in summer, or in the oak panelled dining room with its inglenook fireplace in winter.

Little Upton Farm Breakfast doesn't have to conform to the farmhouse as all tastes and diets can be accommodated, using the fresh produce and home-made preserves that are always at hand.

The hospitality of Howard and Alison is unique and never to be forgotten.

Little Upton Farm has won the NFU Conservation Award for its conservation work, a bridlepath and several footpaths cross the farm for delightful walks in open and varied countryside. The Island's sandy beaches are also close at hand.
